Dr. David Marburger joined the Oklahoma State University faculty in April 2016 as an Assistant Professor and Small Grains Extension Specialist. David was raised on a grain farm near Mt. Olive, IL. He earned his A.A. degree in Pre-environmental Biology while also playing baseball at Springfield College in Illinois. He later transferred to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he earned his B.S. in Crop Sciences. David continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning both his M.S. and Ph.D. in Agronomy. Dr. Marburger's Extension and research efforts at Oklahoma State University focus on delivering science-based recommendations to stakeholders in order to increase small grains production and profitability.
