Dr. Haggard earned her B.S. degree in Agronomy and Range Management from Tarleton State University in 2008. She then moved to Louisiana State University where she earned her Ph.D. in Agronomy in 2012. Dr. Haggard worked for LSU AgCenter from 2012-2015 as the Upland Row Crop Soil Fertility Specialist, before accepting a faculty position in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Haggard focuses on Plant Science teaching and Undergraduate Coordinating. She also has 4-H and FFA Youth Development extension responsibilities.

Dr. Haggard teaches the following courses:

PLNT 1213 – Introduction to Plant and Soil Systems (Fall and Spring)
PLNT 2013 – Applied Plant Science (Spring)
PLNT 2041 – Career Development in Plant and Soil Sciences (Fall)
PLNT 4080 – Professional Internship
